A: In an effort to regulate the carpet cleaning industry, representatives from the Federal Government, carpet manufacturers, and carpet cleaners met in 1992 to lay down guidelines for professional carpet cleaning. These standards came to be known as the S001-92 standards. New Yorker's Carpet Cleaners proudly adheres to every section of this important document.
A: While we strive to resolve every stain on your carpet, it's sometimes not possible to completely remove all spots. In particular, if a stain has been left to seep into the fabric for a long period, it has a greater chance of becoming permanent. That's why it's so important to call us to periodically clean your carpet.
A: That's an easy answer: we don't use these chemicals in the first place! All of our cleaning solutions are made from natural, organic sources, so you'll never have to worry about your precious ones again!

A: We sure do love our pets, but every once in a while they have accidents. Unfortunately, this pet urine seeps past the carpet into the padding underneath, becoming much more difficult to treat. In extreme cases, the urine can go even deeper into the subfloor beneath the padding. When this occurs, the urine has to be removed from every single layer. This is clearly something that calls for a professional. Contact us today to set up a free evaluation.
A: It typically takes between 6 and 8 hours for the furniture to completely dry. To be on the safe side, we recommend that you let your furniture dry overnight before using it.
A: Yes! There's no reason to rip up an entire carpet because a few spots lose their color. We offer spot dying, as well as a full line of replacement carpet stock.
